Dipped in ink.

Ok, so I cannot be bothered to get my camera... but the tips of my fingernails are BLACK! (Bought a nail design pen thingy by Sally Hansen. Right hand only, too difficult/messy to do on the other hand.) When I showed my mum, she cringed and said it looks like I've dipped my fingernails in ink (she cringes at any "unusual" colours/designs I do on my fingernails.)

In other news, I BOUGHT LOTS OF NEW CLOTHES!


Dress by Sunny girl from Episode. I had to decide between this and tie-dye leggings. Most difficult decision I have made in a very long time. (I know my hair looks a bit dumb in this photo, but it did actually look lovely)


New leggings and shoes. The zips on the leggings are kinda lame, but whatever.


How cool is this headband? From Diva.


Petticoat from Don Bosco op shop. $2! It's the first GOOD short petticoat I have found.


I am very pleased with my purchases. And I am officially in love with that dress.
I also got a new ring... It's a lovely orangey coloured "gem" (totally fake, obviously) and the rest is gold.

Todays outfit took little effort, but I took about an hour and a half to decide what to actually wear.
The dress belonged to my mum, she wore it a lot in the 90's. I wore it with a cheap black belt I got from an op shop and my black Oxford-style shoes (which are not featured in the photo... but I think I've uploaded a photo of them here before.)





I found this chair on the street, isn't it wonderful?! One of the planks on the seat slides out, but it's still stable enough to sit on.

New beginnings.

I decided I should make my layout actually look coordinated... and changed the title while I was at it ("Things and such" was just a bit lame!)

My sister has started a food blog! It's incredible, it looks so professional. And tasty! Have a look.


Right, onto the clothes! I bought a new swim suit at the start of the week. Wore them to the beach today. They almost look like a one piece, but it's a tankini with bikini bottoms. Compared to my old swim suit, they are much more age appropriate and a really timeless style. Comfortable, too! The tankini has underwire!



And I found a starfish!



Also, my mum bought me a really nice sun dress for $10 on the weekend. It has a great cut-out style at the back, and I just love the floral print!

Naked in the rain.

Well, not naked... but I was standing in the rain like you see in bad rom-com films a lot.

On Saturday my friend had her 21st party. It was a masquerade, but people only left their masks on for about 5 minutes. Disappointing. I managed to trade my crap white cat mask for a glittery cat mask though!

Lately I have become a little obsessed with 90's rock and grunge music (and fashion, but I've always been into that type of look.)
I went to Savers on Tuesday and found Siamese dream (The Smashing Pumpkins.) I nearly jumped for joy, I was so pleased. I do admit to definitely having a huge grin on my face when I saw it though.



On Monday, Savers had a 50% off all clothes sale, got a good haul! But sadly my camera batteries are dead so I haven't got any photos for you all. I got 2 cardigans (mens, of course), another Chili peppers t-shirt, a white t-shirt to print on and a red polo-shirt type dress. Love the dress so freaking much!
It's a bit like this one... but RED with blue instead of white.





On a sad note, rest in peace Glenn.

On the weekend, I went to the Penny Black to see Cloudmouth













I am so pleased with those photos, I got a HEAP more. And a video. Seeing them again on the 27th, so I'll hopefully get some more awesome photos!

Hello again, lovely people! Got some photos for you.

These 2 photos are related, new lip gloss I got free with Cleo mag. It's a duo thing, lip gloss one end, lip stick the other. But the fricken applicators are on the same bit as the mirror... WHAT!?

Not sure if I'll be able to upload any NEW photos for a while, batteries are dying!

The dress! I love it so much.


Sportsgirl have a nail polish like OPI's "You don't know Jacques!" It's called Commando, it's only $7.95 and it's AMAZING! I have wanted this colour for months, I was going to get the OPI one, but then I saw this... BARGAIN and I love Sportsgirl's polishes.




The boys! First is Rob (guitar). Then Ben (bass). Then Rob with Fernando(aka Pippin)on drums and Jens on vocals.
Those 3 pics are my favourites from the night, so I edited them a bit.
They didn't win the comp, which is complete bullshit. But if they hadn't been put on FIRST when barely anyone was there they'd have got more votes!

Got some more photos of stuff for you guys, but I'll leave that for tomorrow.
