Hello again, lovely people! Got some photos for you.

These 2 photos are related, new lip gloss I got free with Cleo mag. It's a duo thing, lip gloss one end, lip stick the other. But the fricken applicators are on the same bit as the mirror... WHAT!?

Not sure if I'll be able to upload any NEW photos for a while, batteries are dying!

The dress! I love it so much.


Sportsgirl have a nail polish like OPI's "You don't know Jacques!" It's called Commando, it's only $7.95 and it's AMAZING! I have wanted this colour for months, I was going to get the OPI one, but then I saw this... BARGAIN and I love Sportsgirl's polishes.




The boys! First is Rob (guitar). Then Ben (bass). Then Rob with Fernando(aka Pippin)on drums and Jens on vocals.
Those 3 pics are my favourites from the night, so I edited them a bit.
They didn't win the comp, which is complete bullshit. But if they hadn't been put on FIRST when barely anyone was there they'd have got more votes!

Got some more photos of stuff for you guys, but I'll leave that for tomorrow.

My day: Chiro shortly (waiting for it to be time to leave...), possibly a bit of window shopping after that, home for lunch, Vinnies til about 4, home for dinner/get changed, jump on a tram to see my friends Bricks play at the Espy!

First: WATERMELON NAILS! Which I currently have and LOVE to bits!
Second: Zebra nails. They were a bit shit though.
Third: Awesome vintage top from the 70's mum used to wear.
Fourth: Also one of mums old tops.
Fifth: Everyone loves that photo of me haha.
Sixth: I was singing, but it looks pretty rad.

I am thinking of buying THIS DRESS tomorrow. Unless I find something even better on sale.
I also really want to buy O.P.I.'s "You don't know Jacques!" nail polish... but I might leave that for another time.

Wanted to upload a photo of todays outfit.



Boots from Vinnies, top and cardigan from Savers, NEW JEANS from Sportsgirl.
The jeans were tucked into my boots better, but I went out for a bit and the walk moved them around too much haha.

I found a really cool blog, it was featured in the last issue of Aussie Cosmo mag. Read it here. It has kind of inspired me to do some more interesting nail designs. I need more colours! Going to do a bit of a zebra print or spots on my red nails I think. I'll keep y'all updated!

So I am sitting here watching Batman... it's new though, so not quite so good =P
Ooooh, the poor robot thinks he's human!

ANYWAY! I got new jeans yesterday! Well, mum paid for them... but they're mine!



Please ignore the mess in my room, and the fact I look completely stupid.

And I'll show off my lovely rings, too!



The big green one was my mums (and before that a friends or something, I'm not sure...) but she doesn't really wear it so she let me have it. The rose was from a friend of mine, I kind of wish it was a bit bigger though. The one on my pinky is actually a toe ring, and the little green bit I filled in with nail polish cos it was a gross cream colour.

I guess that's it for now. Might post another blog later if I have something interesting to share.

Today I made these cupcakes

Though I changed it around a bit, I put coconut rum in the batter instead of coconut (didn't have enough for both the batter and the frosting) and a bit in the frosting too. They're AMAZING! The cupcakes aren't my best though, they stick to the paper a bit.





Look good, yes? You're jealous, yes? Go make some then, you're not having mine!

I've got the flu! Starting to feel a bit better, I can breathe through my nose again. Major bonus.

Today I decided to give myself a bit of a manicure. Was about time I trimmed my nails (cut a few of them a little bit too short though.)

Might go hunt for comics and CD's in the library tomorrow afternoon.

Also did another about 5 minutes ago because I am SUPER BORED!





Bridget says I am insane because I was talking to a drawing. She worked at a psych ward, she's a nurse, she knows =P


My sisters cat is bonkers, he clawed my face yesterday... it bled, yay. And he clawed my kneecap today. Now THAT fucking hurt! And it was only 2 tiny scratches!

Busy next few days, my bestest friend is coming to visit from Tasmania!

Yeah, chipped my tooth a bit on a bottle of Smirnoff mojito... I feel so gross.

Today was good, surprisingly. Really can't be bothered to talk about it much though.

A day in the life of a walking accident.

I am known for being clumsy, but this is just insane!
My lip piercing is infected (gross, I know... also not really to do with being clumsy.)
A pair of old boots have given me a blister, which is also infected. So I had to wear flip flops yesterday... now I have blisters from THEM!
I nearly got hit by a car running a red light this morning. Like, it was literally one metre away from hitting me. Boy do I feel lucky! Nearly had a heart attack.
Anyway, I also burnt my lip on a match trying to blow it out (now THAT is just stupid.)

I am a walking accident, I think I should just stay in a padded cell for the rest of my life.



In happier news, I may have gotten an increase in my Centrelink money! Hoping it's not just the bank making a mistake. Cos that would suck very muchly.

Had a good night last night (except for one little thing I won't mention...)
Went to the pub, they had this one year birthday kinda thing going on with a tonne of bands. It was totally rad. Some friends of a friend played a REALLY good set! The singer was dressed in a wolf costume then stripped down to short shorts haha.

That hat is officially known as the "Rad hat"... Was also wearing a black dress and a HUGE grey cardigan. What you can't see is my tights and ankle boots... both black. (I need a new camera so I can actually have photos of EVERYTHING for you guys to see.)


Hmm what else? Oh, I have a really sore blister on my foot so I can only wear sandal time things... in the middle of WINTER! Kinda sucks. And if I can't wear shoes by Tuesday, I won't be able to work cos I am not allowed to wear open toed shoes. That's not too disappointing though hahaha.

I feel entitled to this laziness today though because I spent about an hour doing this drawing last night.

I am wearing a black and brown striped top, custom made cut off denim shorts, black over the knee socks, brown MENS SHOES, round red glasses with the lenses popped out and my hair is in a bit of a high side pony tail thing. PICCIES! I got a bit hyper towards the end...

Inspired.

So I was watching Oprah (I'm so cool) and there were group of guys on talking about their list of 100 things to do before they die. It got me thinking... What do I want to do before I die? I know I want to raise a family, but what else?
Now it's time to brainstorm!


I'd like to write a book. I've had many failed attempts at that already though. I don't know what I would write about... there's something to think about.

I want to get my comic out there.

I want to go over-seas.

I want to find where my friends grave is.

I want to visit every state and territory in Australia. So far been to Victoria (OBVIOUSLY), Tas, SA and NSW (only very briefly, so I guess that doesn't really count.)

I want to show my art work at a gallery, and sell it.



I will leave it at that for now. If you have any ideas for your own list, please feel free to share them! It's an interesting topic.

First entry!

I am not really sure what I want this blog to be about, so this entry will just be a whole lot of nothing... but I will try my best not to bore!
You may be wondering where this "SailorBabs" thing comes from. Well, I have the beginnings of my own comic happening! It's about Sailor strippers (classy, yes?) My character is called Babs... hence SAILORBABS!!! It is my alter-ego, I suppose. Here is a drawing of her. It's a bit crappy, just keep in mind that I am still working on the characters.



I have a few drawings of her, but that one is my best/favourite. Let me know what you think! I might upload more drawings for you if you approve!
